November 28, 2008 - Aft Canopy

While moving all the RV parts from the basement to the garage, I realized I had never installed the aft canopy backing strips.  The backing strips are optional, but I had spent an hour or two making them, so I might as well use 'em.  A couple of holes in the backing strips needed opening with a needle file, but for the most part the strips fit pretty well.  I didn't need to remove the aft canopy -- just remove the washers and nuts, slip the backing strip over the screws, then put the washers and nuts back on.

Hopefully the backing strips will make the aft canopy less susceptable to cracking.

Installed two of the four bottom foam pads.  The foam on the floor serves as a noise barrier and padding for carpet.
