November 28, 2008 - Aft Canopy |
||||||
While moving all the RV parts from the basement to the garage, I realized I had never installed the aft canopy backing strips. The backing strips are optional, but I had spent an hour or two making them, so I might as well use 'em. A couple of holes in the backing strips needed opening with a needle file, but for the most part the strips fit pretty well. I didn't need to remove the aft canopy -- just remove the washers and nuts, slip the backing strip over the screws, then put the washers and nuts back on. | ||||||
Hopefully the backing strips will
make the aft canopy less susceptable to
cracking.

Installed two of the four bottom foam
pads. The foam on the floor serves as a noise barrier and padding
for
carpet.
