It wasn't very big compared to the
big aviation museums in the U.S. The central area seen here had a
nice selection of planes, tanks and guns. On the basement level
they had probably the best World War I and World War II galleries I have
ever seen, taking you through each stage of the war, showing artifacts,
models, uniforms and photos of each phase and front. They also had a
nice gallery on Field Marshal Montgomery and some Cold War
stuff.

A very nice Folke-Wolf 190. I'd love to see one of these at an airshow.
This Spitfire Mark I actually flew in
the Battle of Britain in 1940. I've seen a Spitfire fly at
Oshkosh -- two seater,
though.

The tank that beat the German Army on the Eastern Front: the Soviet T-34. Better than the German tanks in 1941 and 1942, it was also relatively easy to manufacture and maintain. The Soviets built 34,780 T-34's in 1940–44.
The front end of a British Lancaster four-engine bomber. The tandem seating was interesting.
The mid-section of a Japanese Zero.
