May 9, 2009 - Blue Angels from the Water!

Today I participated in a team-building event with the gang from work.  The plan was to watch the Blue Angels from the waters by the Naval Academy.  

I met JMac at the marina and we launched his boat Bella Rock. 

 
 
We rendezvoused with the rest of the group aboard Newman's boat near the Naval Academy.  Newman had laid out quite a spread of delicacies.

Today was the Blue Angels practice day. 
 
First time I've ever seen them from the water.
 
It's unbelievable how close they fly together.
