March 1, 2009 - Organize Wires

I just want everyone to appreciate my devotion to the project.  Yes, that is snow on the ground.  I think I was the only person at the airport on this Sunday.  But I tend to be more productive when there's no one around and it's cold.

I want to rivet the forward top skin next weekend, so I finished organizing and tie-wrapping all the wire bundles.

Might as well take a picture of the firewall forward while I'm at it.  It's amazing how the space behind the engine got filled up.

I straighted up the wire bundles running up the floor center.

I finally got around to installing the Outside Air Temperature probe.  I put it underneath the right wing, just outboard of the first inspection port.

We got about six inches of snow Sunday night and Monday morning, the first significant snow we've had in three years.
