May 31, 2005 - Fuselage Kit is in the House! |
||||||
The Fuselage Kit box. We did a dock pickup at ABF Freight. $200 for shipping which wasn't too bad. The box even fit in our Grand Caravan, although it was close. The seats were removed, of course. The box weighted a ton; we had a tough time just getting it out of the van into the garage. Because it was so heavy, I decided to just unpack it in the garage and carry the components down to the basement.
The happy builder.

I pried the lid off and ... it's kind of like Howard Carter first looking into King Tut's tomb. ... Wonderful things!
Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is ....
The second layer. | ||||||
It took me two hours just to unpack
the box. As of this shot, I've already spent three hours inventorying the contents. Lots and lots of parts. Really lots of rivets. |
