February 22, 2006 - Riveting F-705 Bracket and
F-757 Gusset
I was able to rivet the F-757 gusset, aft and forward canopy decks to
the main longeron by myself.

| I started riveting the right F-705 bracket to the bulkhead by myself but soon realized this was a two-person job. And the second person would have to buck from inside the fuselage. So, Lynnette became the first person to sit in the RV-7 fuselage! Here is a shot of the historical moment. We riveted the right bracket to the bulkhead, and then the F-757 gusset to the bracket. | ||||||
