August 14, 2007 - Firwall Forward Kit arrives |

| The firewall forward kit arrived from Van's. This will be the last kit of a long line: Empennage, Wing, Fuselage and Finish. All sorts of goodies were in the big box. | ||||||

The Wiring Harness subkit was part of
the FWF kit. I was surprised by how many thick cables were in the
kit.

| I was also surprised -- and dismayed -- by the number of Baffle Kit pieces. The good news is that supposed they are pre-cut to the correct size and go together a lot faster than in the past. | ||||||

| After edge-smoothing the gasolator reinforcing plate, I clecoed it to the firewall. I was surprised by how substantial the plate was. That gasolator is not going anywhere. | ||||||
