March 7, 2007 - The Dynon arrives! |
||||||
A surprise was waiting at home after coming home from work. The Dynon FlightDek 180 has arrived! I had ordered it in mid-January. The timing is perfect. I'm about ready to start on the electrical system, panel and wiring.
The mailman also brought me the latest issue of RVator. That's an
RV-7 on the cover. Could that be me this time next year? Hope so!

Peering inside the box.
All the stuff other than the main box. The FD-180 is displays
Flight information and Engine information so it came with all
sorts of sensors. I ordered the wiring harnesses also which were
done by Stein Air. I also ordered the remote compass magnetometer.
It'll be great flying with an accurate compass. In all the planes
I've flown so far, the compass is practically useless.

This smaller box was inside the big box.
The installation instructions and users guide.
I'm guessing you use this cable to load software upgrades into the Dynon.
And the box itself, turned on. (I also got the backup battery
option) Awesome.
|
||||||
All the stuff. I thought the Dynon box would be longer than it is.
