December 4, 2007 - Transponder powered up!
Today's system was the transponder. Check out the transponder at the bottom of the stack. It's powered up! Yes, that's a digital 1200 you see.
Actually, there's not much wiring involved with the transponder. The red power wire to the bus. The black ground wire to the ground bus, and a serial encoder wire that goes to the Dynon. Then there is the antenna wire that I had to make. No big deal, just put the coax terminal on each end. I had done some of that during the Citabria restoration so it wasn't completely new.
