April 15, 2006 - Soaring
Bruce and I flew the Citabria out to the Flying Cow Airport.  I did a flight in the Ka-8 below.  Given how bumpy the flight out was in the Citabria, the thermals were surprisingly sparse.  I was only able to stay up 40 minutes. 
The poor Baby Ace, sitting forlornly in the hangar, a victim of the Washington D.C. ADIZ. 
 
The flight back to Essex Skypark was wild  -- we had a good tailwind but experienced some pretty good turbulence.
