There are two Sagauro National Parks, actually: one on the west side of Tucson and one on the east side. Today we checked out the west side. We checked out the visitors center, which was closed, but did have a little hike. Then we drove the Bajada Scenic Loop, an unpaved road through a forest of Sagauro cactuses. The park is a hikers paradise but we did not have time to do one of the long ones. |
